About Aaron
The music career of Aaron Rausch (b. 1998) is distinguished by its breadth, with Aaron performing, teaching, and composing on both many instruments, and across many genres. Aaron obtained a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance at Central Washington University, under the guidance of Mark Goodenberger.
Aaron teaches percussion at several schools in the Tri-Cities area. Additionally, he has helped instruct and write music for several high school marching programs, and is the founder and director of Hanford High School’s (Richland, WA) indoor percussion program.
His most recent performance experiences include playing with the Mid Columbia Symphony, Walla Walla Symphony, Mid Columbia Musical Theater, and the Mid Columbia Master Singers. His commitment to musical education is underscored by extensive experience in private instruction, having taught thousands of lessons over five years for children and teenagers in piano, drums, and general music.
Aaron has seen praise for his original compositions. Included in this is a solo piano album, “Postcards” (2020), which has amassed over 100k listens in more than 50 countries since its release. Additionally, his music commission service, titled “Piano Portraits”, has fulfilled dozens of original commissions for their clients.
Outside of his musical endeavors, you will find Aaron playing in the occasional chess tournament, or playing golf with his family!
